0 Indie Films

An independent film, or indie film, adalah film yg produced outside of any major film studio macam Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Universal Pictures ngan 20th Century Fox. Just like indie scene yg laen2, semuanya berlaku atas diri mereka sendiri. Budget sndri, cast sndri and so on. Dorang wat skrip dorang pnyer suka, xda sper2 nk tpis adegan2 **toot or racism. Indie filmmakers show their feeling trough their moving media artworks.

Antara film yg berjaya, Little Fugitive. It became the first independent film to be nominated for Best Picture at the American Academy Awards. ngan Silver Lion at Venice. Lama dah 1953, mak aku pon blum ada kt dunia nih.. Film ni about seorang budak kicik yang being played ngan bro dier with his friends, dorang set an accident yang bdak kicik ni, Joey Norton dah shoot bro dier..jahat btul!, then dier lari dari rumah then bla bla..google ok..

Ironic jugak, ble scene indie naik, apa2 kaitan ngan indie pon ikut sama..haha, mcm indie film kt Malaysia ni kena gak tempiasnya. Starting ngan Amir Muhammad and James Lee, and stalwarts—Ho Yuhang, Osman Ali, Yasmin Ahmad—attract ramai international attention and winning awards kat foreign film festivals in Europe, Asia and North America.. Mainstream film pon x da smpai cini beb!! Platform dorang nk famous satu dunia, Sundance Film Festival, gathers all the indie filmmakers on earth.

Antara factor laen ye la, technology dah makin murah, makin berkembang. Internet memainkan peranan penting. Youtube of course! Then college yg banyak offer courses perfileman like MMU, CENFAD, Akademi Filem, Akademi Seni Kebangsaan, Limkokwing, USM, UNIMAS, UiTM and so on. Dorang future filmmakers Malaysia ok!

Tapi biasa la, bler da naik, people around you mula la aware. Dengan budget rendah, dorang shot without permits and licences,ble kne tangkap! most indie films are made without consideration of being screened in the censor-ridden mainstream cinemas and and ada jugak nk provoke critical audience engagement, yer la dengan sensitivinyer, racism, agama and so on. Maybe the outsiders take it for granted but for Malaysian, not really.. Antara yang bikin panas Amir’s 6horts, ngan karyanya The Big Durian. Sensitive issues like Malay hegemony, the power of the sultans, and the ISA, politics matter.(Lembaga penapisan filem)LPFM mmg ban pnyer..( a bit bias with hollywood and x relevant) tu la cabaran bdak2 ni.

0 What is Bundle?

Bundle? most of poyo people will think, apa class bundle kan? eew.. Stigma negative tu kuat. Ayat2 trademark dorang, well..Ntah2 tuan bdan tu berkurap! Gelinyer I! haha..

Tapi for those who appreciate the vintage value, nilai estetika, plus yg sedar nilainya afta years.. investment la tu..hehe think masa depan..bgus

Ok, ramai yg anggap kedai bundle cuma jual baju2 lama stok for kain buruk kan.. tapi sebnarnya bundle ni jual macam2.. macam2 ada.. tshirt, jean, watch, belt, jacket, sweater, suit and x lupa juga, boxer, haha..

Apa pon sepanjang bergelumang dalam dunia maksiat ni, basically da 3 barang; bundle vintage, 2nd hand and new one. Lubuk for bundle ni, senang cakap tempat famous kt Kelantan and Johor, why? Sbb dkat ngan pelabuhan and border. Dorang datang berkontena..haha

Selalunya la, 2nd hand favourite bdak2 ni. Tshirt, jeans or denim, belt and so on. Baju band yang rare and memorabilia memang demand tinggi skrang nih. Depends permintaan, made in where (tab/tagl/label) and latest fashion gak. Biasanya datang dri US, UK or Japan. The vintage one or classic, terutama kasut, beg, jacket and so on mmg mahal2. Riban2 gak depends its age and historical values.

Budak2 bundle ramai pkai barang branded. Adidas, Nike, Puma, Don Ed Hardy, Levi’s, Fred Perry, Evisu, Converse till yang sophisticated like Bally, Gucci, CD, Paul Smith, LV and Ralph Lauren. Obviously kt boutique riban2 la kan, tp kt bundle klau time tu rezeki kau, brang2 nk bwah RM300 ble dapat, tip top condition lg, Cuma da dipakai la. Tapi kalau da on your body, msti da orang notice nyer. Where did you get this fu**in t man?!

Terus terang, bundle ni bleh kira jadi half boutique half museum. Most important, deal baik2 ngan boss bg harga kaw2 murah pnyer!! The price could be yours!!

0 The meaning of Indie

Well, basically it is taken from the word independent. Tapi psal panjang sngat dorang ni call it INDIE. Secara ilmiahnya merujuk kepada sebilangan jenis muzik, persada muzik, subbudaya dan sifat stilistik dan kebudayaan yang disifatkan daripada persepsi kebebasan from muzik pop komersial dan budaya aliran utama serta pendekatan membuat hasil karya sendiri (do-it-youself/DIY) secara bebas…pergh

Teenagers Malaysia skrang nih, tnya la kt dorang indie tu aper, dorang  msti answer music indie la pa lagi.. tp its more than that sebnarnya. Indie skrang menjadi budaya, style, trend entah smpai bler kan bertahan, but then kebanyakannya bertunjangkan music rock, so then smpai mati pon wujud! ROCK NEVER DIES!!

Nowadays, we can identify them by looking how they dressup la kan.. shirt yg design pelik, “saya sayang mak saya la”..haha sejuk mak dier yg mengandungkan dier tu! Yg skinny la, gals with shawls!! Caer siot aku tgk..haha but in the end, it’s just a fashion..

Tapi yg creative dorang design themselves, kcik2 da jd fashion designer..bgus la tu..haha

Ok now back to business. World knows that indie is a part of elements from the non-mainstream scene/society. Musicians or band2 ni byk unsigned, x pon under independent record labels. They make the music themselves, so jujur la kan. Slalunya dorang promote dlm gig2 drg wat tour tu. Now pkai dunia tanpa smpadan la kan, bak kta orang, lagi efficient.

Films pon ble scara indie jgak. Budget sndri, cast sndri and so on. Dorang wat skrip dorang pnyer suka, xda sper2 nk tpis adegan2 lucah or racism. Indie filmmakers show what they feel trough their media artworks. But then, it is up to them, making film for money or satisfaction.

Fashion that rare and unique comes from indie people. They create clothes yg design subjective, not really for orang2 bnyk duit, and its murah. Basically dorang for gals dorang guna mcm2 yg plik2 and mmg aku pon x faham..haha tp bila jd trend, fooh, smua nk pkai!

Nk meaning indie yg more subjective lg?? Ok. For those people yg mengaplikasikan semangat indie dalam diri mereka, they could do almost anything without someone’s help. They have jati diri yg kuat, not really give up, always know how to deal with themselves. Senang citer dorang kenal diri sendiri, the weakness and how to manage it, and kelebihan on how to take an advantage of it.

So, Indie bukan sekadar music or just physical attitude, create it in urself than people will judge you for the right way...

1 Prison Break 4 Episode 4 Review

Well the forth episode brings card number 2, only four more to go. But i know there will be more episodes to go, ya la, if every episode took each card, dont you think it too short for this season? haha

The plot of this episode was basically the gang trying to find a way to get the info from card 2.  Sara has her own little story in which she discovers Bruce has been killed and she contemplates breaking her 3 year sobriety.  Excluding Sara’s little side story, this episode wasn’t too bad overall but the pace was far too slow for a Prison Break episode.

Michael and co. found out that the second card holder was a Turkish consulate’s wife.  In which they managed to acquire the info from the card by attending a fundraiser about police who have died and the family they have left behind that the consulate’s wife was attending.  Though first, Michael, Lincoln and Alex(lil bit ironic for him) stole cop uniforms to attend the fundraiser, plus a little murder helped as well.

T-Bag was still on his quest, following whatever is in the bird book which I have no idea will lead too.  Though he did encounter Michael and Lincoln but their meeting was short lived, though Linc did get in a punch for good old times.  Though I have to mention the wonderful receptionist, yes wasn’t she a wonderful actress, best actress I’ve seen in a long time.  She’s an asset to the show, hopefully she’ll be around for a bit.

It’s very annoying that Wyatt has found Sara, my god I knew why there was a reason the writers killed her off.  She’s a very pretty girl but my god she annoys me a lot.  We’ll see how her stupidity will manifest...

0 Prison Break 4 Episode 3 Review

   

Ok, this time, the gang go after card number 2, well the Scylla card. This episode was a very season 2 type escapade, basically it had a lot of running..quite tired lookin it right? The basic plot of this episode was Michael and the team trying to get their hands on the second Scylla card but upper powers want to terminate the project when they find out that they need six cards.

The crazy Terminator Wyatt or shiat!! having a wonderful sweet moment with Bruce.  How long did it actually take him to get what he wanted? Well, the drugs that he gave him were not powerful enough..really, 5 packs right? Woo..He’s a killing hitman but his torture techniques, oh man! its like you played with your own grandson..haha

T-Bag, woo.. this man was once again wonderful, he has a new place and took a shave, ordered pizza..  He looks like a new man and I’m intrigued to what he’s going to be up to in the next few episodes.

Highlights of the episode were Michael and Roland trying to get the email from the server and having trouble breathing until axe weilding Lincoln comes to the rescue, yeah you the man! The other great scene in the episode was at the end between Mahone and Lincoln, a scene in which they come together, Lincoln lets his anger go and he promises to help Alex. One thing, i did notice that the episode ended on this scene looked strange because episodes normally end on a cliffhanger, suspens and tergantung?? so it was a nice change for once..ya la, seems to be bored?

Well, as usual.. i share the episode to public..i mean not exactly by me..just to show my appreciation that i'm the one of their die hard fans..or should i buy the DVD?

0 Prison Break 4 Episode 1, 2 Review

  

 

Ok, im not good in reviewing a story..but i try. Season 4 started well, since Michael finds that Sara didn’t loose her head. Thank God, losing her made the story like hambar..ala you know? where heroes need heroins right? its completed each other. In season 3, we know Michael looked a lil bit lost..poor him, cos i know how it feels like..ok off topic..haha This season, the same gang with the clumsy geek Chinese are forced to team up to take down the company once and for all.


These two episodes had more energy to them and were full of shocks and twists which we can expect from the show.  Prison Break has always been a show to have a willing suspension of disbelief, I’ve always accepted that and went along with that idea.  If you have that disbelief then you’re going to love these two episodes, because frankly a lot of it is very silly..haha you know what i mean?

The most shocking things to come out of the episodes were the deaths of Whistler and Mahone’s wife and child.  I never expected Whistler to be killed because I thought he was the key to getting at the company, the shot to the head was shocking but really well done.  The murders of Mahone’s family was heartbreaking, this shocked me more, I felt so sorry for Mahone, well, kind of la.. his path will sure be interesting this season.  All he had left was them, his revenge will be awesome. A father's revenge for his loved son..till willing to see his son's death pics..like pembakar semangat la kot..

The guy who executed these killings was new character Wyatt or shiat, the companies Terminator style hitman.konon jer la, who has been sent to kill of Scofield and crew. Ok, this man totally makes me piss off!! If i was in with them..aku bunuh dier awal-awal.. Another new character to the mix is Donald Self, who has formed this group together to take on the company.

Prison Break is back and with a full season, these two episodes are a huge improvement over season 3 which while I enjoyed at the start, it slowly became tiresome..well sakit hati tu gler2 pnyer..haha

I would like to share these 2 episodes of season 4..sodot while available..i did not upload these files. So, im not responsible if the contents had virus..haha LOL.
